Vivo T1 5G: Review: Good Phone But One Problem... Full Review!

guys, while talking about Vivo we think they are generally over priced with low performing processors, but it seems the flow of air has been changed with this Vivo T1 5G. It seems with this new T1 series, they are focussing on providing better specifications with lower price range. This can be a game changer. And I've used this T1 5G for sometime and I'm going to give a full and final review And I'll be covering both pros and cons for this one..Let's start with the price of Vivo T1 5G.The 4th model in the T1 series is priced at ₹15,990.And the storage for 4GB RAM variant is 128GB And the price for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is for ₹16,990.And for ₹19,990 we see the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. So yeah, the pricing is actually pretty good. And we are also getting good discounts.HDFC Offers are also being provided which enables a discount of additional ₹1,000 which makes it a sweet deal. One of the key reasons to go for this one is the processor. It is running on SnapDragon 695.Most mobiles with 695 processor touch the range of ₹20,000 easily. And the thing about 695 is it gives a good performance to the device. It's performance is comparable to the MediaTek Dimensity 900.And if you are getting this performance which is around 750G then it is a great processor for under ₹20,000 range. This is a better processor than G95, G96, or the 732G.So the pricing with the processor and what it can deliver,is very solid. Even the gamers won't have much complaint with the performance of this device. And also the storage is 128GB minimum, and this idea of going for 128GB instead of 256GB seems very ideal to me.And again, processor is not the only thing, other things also matter. Speaking of which, the cameras are also very good on this one.We have a 50MP main camera on this one This is the Samsung J1 image sensor, and a 2MP macro and depth camera. But the main camera provides good result The image quality is good, HDR is good, since Vivo devices provide a solid image post processing. One important thing to notice here is that there is no Ultra Wide angle lens. This, I felt was a short coming on the device.Ultra Wide camera would have been an upgrade to the camera setup and provided more perspective to the over all photography experience. But that 50MP camera does provide good results with solid image post processing. The software is also very good. We are getting Android 12 out of the box with this one. And companies are still running Android 11 under the range of ₹20,000. And we are in 2021 now, what is going on? Phone companies are still giving Android 11 in their devices under the price of ₹20,000 in 2021, but here we get Android 12 out of the box.Vivo's FunTouch OS has been simplified and improved And if someone wants to use it as a daily driver, then you definitely can.It has some bloatware, I agree, like hot games and hot apps, so, you'll have to disable them some apps would have to be disabled for a clean experience But that experience can be used daily with comfort. With Android 12, it is a great deal. And if Vivo provides timely updates then it would be a much better experience. But it feels good to see when all companies are sticking with Android 11,Vivo has launched their Android 12 under ₹20,000.Especially when many mobile phones over the range of ₹20,000 are being released with Android 11.And talking about its display,we are getting a notch design in 2021in hole punch era, plus no AMOLED Screen,it comes with a 120HZ display of IPS LCD screen with a touch response of 240HZ.The display quality is okay. But I wish they would've given an AMOLED screen. You guys also let me know, but I think things would've been better if we got AMOLED.Even though we have an IPS LCD screen, the quality isn't bad.But AMOLED would have made it better.Especially with the 120HZ display and 240HZ touch response, the gamers would find it beneficial. So maybe Vivo was targeting gamers with this one.And talking about the build, lightness and thickness, its all good. Now for protection , we have a panda glass on screen not the Gorilla corning glass. The side frame is plastic and so is the back. But the phone feels really slim. It's very light weight, the distribution is done well. For looks, the back design is very unique And the in hand feel is also very good. You can use a plastic protective case to strengthen the device. But the thing is, it is sleek, light weight, and in hand feel is great, looks are good and unique. It weighs 187 grams and has 8.25 mm thickness And we have also got a side mounted finger print scanner. We have a bottom firing speaker and a type C port, and a headphone jack too.And now coming to the battery. The battery backup is good since we get a 5000mah battery. So battery lasts for a long time. But, the charging is slow since we only get 18W charger which is slow for the era. But 33W and 44W seems a much better option for this.18W charging is slow. Now talking about 5G bands,we only get 2 5G bands, N77 and N78.And I've told you all before in a video that N78 band is coming to India and hence, devices with N78 support will be valid. But only N77 and N78 bands they will work when they roll outbut more bands mean better connectivity in future. But 5G will still work because Jio announced their phones would be coming with N78 support. So, thats all good but with more bands, we would've gotten better connectivity. This is where they did a lot of cost cutting. Now let's talk about pros and cons and figure out should you buy this phone or not.First Pro is the 695 processor. It's a great processor for the price with powerful performance.Second is the Android 12 out of the box. Which is absolutely great. And the 5000 Mah battery is something that I really enjoyed on this one.And of course the design, the looks are really unique and I like it.And the main camera is good too. The Image processing is wonderful. And about cons, I really think 18W charging is very slow.Only 2 5G bands feel very weak. Having more 5G bands would have made it future proof.Next is the missing Ultra Wide camera and AMOLED screen, which tanks a lot of potential fun.Let's jump to the final verdict that why should anyone buy this device. If you are looking for a device with good design, performance, camera, battery, then you can have a look at this one.But if they had added an Ultra wide lens, AMOLED Screen and more 5G bands, then it would've been one of the best on the market.

Yet, in this price range we didn't expected a device like this from Vivo.It seems Vivo is making powerful phones in their T series, and we are seeing some great devices under ₹20,000, which is great.I wanna ask you all, what do you guys think about Vivo T1 5G?
